: itsmoreauI was having a hard time getting through TSoM as it was more of a stop-and-marvel-at-these-facts kind of thing, so I downgraded it to just the reading I do on my breaks at work. For home proper length session reading, I’ve started Gulliver’s Travels because I once again failed to acquire The Wars from Anna. Do you know when she recommended it to me? May 2011. Yeah.
Gulliver’s Travels is good so far, I had no idea what to expect but if I expected anything it was not this. It includes the word “fourscore”, an amount that I’m not entirely sure about.
Still plugging away at TSoM but I added a couple of books to the list SO SUE ME
I have received another book suggestion! List is now as follows:
Finished a book! Anna hasn’t succeeded at lending me The Wars yet, so I’ve moved The Story of Mathematics up to position 2. Starting it today!
What time is it? 5:41pm
What are you doing? Just got in from seeing the Hobbit, supposed to be getting ready to go out again but two of my wisdom teeth are coming in and one hurts so bad I don’t want to go anywhere. Took some Tylenol and rinsed out my mouth and we’ll see how I feel in a bit I guess.
What do you want most in the world today? less pain. And another day off of work maybe.
What has happened recently that made you happy? Making progress on some new habits. Been exercising regularly, keeping up with my set schedule. It’s a little hard on my body since I’m also adding working again to the plate, that’s why I’m taking it easy, but I’m hoping it continues to get better at this pace.
What has happened recently that made you sad? Been watching HIMYM from the beginning with Paul, all the tears.
What happened recently that you didn’t expect? The one thing I’ve had trouble keeping up with is my reading. I will have to prioritize that more.
Finish this sentence: Tomorrow … I start a 4-day streak of working at 7am. I originally had only two days, then I had the next three off, but I picked up two shifts from a girl who didn’t want them. I need to be working more of a full time thing, and been getting 24-32 hours a week. Would prefer 40+.
