375 days in the life

If you're new and you want to get caught up, here is my daily diary

I am in my fourth year of university for math. I enjoy reading, writing and starting impossible projects. Talk to me. I like following personal blogs the most.

phoenixcat109 - Slytherin

Donna is currently reading Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey

Novel word count: 7,675

Donna's struggle to get good grades in her final term:
CO - 84%
FR - 23% shh it's under control

I will tell you anything you want to know basically. I'm so terribly open, when people take the time to care.

lachrimaestro:

The contents of my childhood spy kit were housed in what had once been the makeup tote from the set of luggage my parents took on their honeymoon to Bermuda (it still had an airline sticker).  There was a walkie-talkie that didn’t have a mate. A length of rope for tying things and practicing knots. A magnifying glass to look at bugs. A small telescope for scanning the horizon. A pocket knife because cutting stuff is cool. A bag of marbles to scatter behind you when you were being chased, or alternately use as projectiles in the slingshot fashioned from a piece of bicycle inner tube. Lastly, two oatmeal cookies because covert operations behind enemy lines build an appetite.

  • Me: *le nomming stir fry in my room, watching tv on the computer*
  • Rick: *knocks*
  • Me: Ugh, come in I guess.
  • Rick: Look at this thing here, we were really close etc see how the lines are similar so we did a good job isn't that nice?
  • Me: That's good.
  • Rick: I'm going to hand in this one.
  • Me: So this wasn't a time sensitive issue then?
  • Rick: No.
  • Me: Can I ever eat dinner without having to stop and have a conversation with you about something? [*this is an ongoing argument between us*]
  • Rick: How was I supposed to know you were eating?
  • Me: It's been literally 8 minutes since I served dinner.
  • Rick: Has it?
  • Me: Wait, how are you done eating already, that makes no sense.
  • Rick: Idk.

What time is it? 1:12pm

What are you doing? I am super failing at doing these every day. Like, not even close. The last five days or so have been really hectic though, but I’m hoping things will calmish down now. I just finished studying psych and now I’m getting ready and I’m going down to St Catharines to my sister’s birthday BBQ.

What do you want most in the world today? time lol

Last thing you ate? toast with pb&b

What has happened recently that made you happy? Even though I could have really (really, really, really) used the time yesterday and last night, I’m glad I went out. My friends mean a lot to me, and just being around them really helps my mood and makes me feel like I’m doing this for a reason: to one day have a life.

What has happened recently that made you sad? It’s been pretty bad the last week or so. I feel really, really weak and horrible. There’s a lot I have to think over and I can’t even tell you how much I wish therapy was starting this week. I really can’t handle this.

What happened recently that you didn’t expect? Well Anna was thinking about learning to drive soonishly and if she can be successful in that and be a decent driver then she and I might go Saskatchewan in August because timewise and compatibilitywise I think that would work out the best. There are a couple of other people who have expressed interest but there’s always something hanging me up about it, whether it’s a time constraint due to work or the fact that 24/7 together might not be the best idea. So hopefully Anna can show up to this endeavor and we can rock Canada, math style.

Finish this sentence: Tomorrow … is my first day alone at work.

Talk to me in French, holy fuck that’s so sexy

I feel like the pronunciation isn’t as correct as it could be, as we were taught that it’s weird to pronounce e’s when not emphasizing things (e.g. je veux = j’veux when out loud).

I wouldn’t have thought that “Je viens” would be quite so literally translated but I will take your word for it.

Also I love that they include “That was weird”. I laughed.

Oh. My. God.

How long did this take someone to make????

#do they even have crime in canada

I would watch this movie. Even though it would probably be the same movie just with every instance of “America” replaced with “Canada”.
